What we collect

• Account data: name, email, optional phone, profile details
• User content: business listings, item listings, flyers, events, posts, messages, comments
• Usage & device data: app version, device model, OS, crash logs, performance metrics
• Location signals: city/region or coarse location for discovery features
• Transaction metadata: listing IDs, timestamps, non-payment interactions (no payment card details stored by us unless clearly stated)
• Cookies/SDKs: to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance

How we use data

• Operate the app (accounts, listings, hiring, buy/sell, flyers, events, communities, social)
• Improve safety, moderation, fraud prevention, and abuse detection
• Diagnostics, debugging, and feature development
• Communications about service updates and transactional notices
• Surface relevant results and suggestions (e.g., local content)

Sharing

• Service providers under confidentiality and security obligations (hosting, analytics, error reporting)
• Legal/safety when required by law or to prevent harm
• Community visibility for content you choose to publish

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention & deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and data (subject to legal exceptions).

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to/limit certain processing. Contact info@mpgmuslims.org to make a request.

Children

The app is not intended for children under the age required by local law to consent to data processing without parental approval. If we learn a child used the service without needed consent, we will take steps to remove related data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No online service is 100% secure—use a strong password and protect your account.

International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post updates here and, when appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.

Acceptance

By downloading or using MPG Connects, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Accounts & eligibility

• You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

User content & conduct

• You retain ownership of content you post; you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it within the service.
• Do not post illegal, harmful, misleading, infringing, or deceptive content; no hate speech, harassment, or spam.
• No sale of prohibited items; comply with applicable laws and platform rules in your region.
• We may moderate, remove, or restrict content that violates policies or law.

Marketplace & interactions

• Listings, hiring, and transactions occur between users. We are not a party to contracts between users unless explicitly stated.
• Use common sense and caution when meeting or transacting with others.
• Any payment features (if enabled) may be provided by third‑party processors subject to their terms.

Intellectual property

All app code, design, trademarks, and assets are protected by intellectual property laws. Do not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the service.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, legal requirements, or to protect users. You may stop using the app at any time.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable local laws where the organization operates. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
